I have no existing product. I am trying to list a new product but it doesnt let me and every time I fix it, it gives me the same old error message like a broken record player.
The Amazon Chat support is of no help either.

Correct.
First, the assessment of your actions is done by a BOT, not a real human. Thus, you will always receive the same answer.
Second, the response it telling you that your new listing is too close to listing(s) already on the site.
Third, does your listing have a GS! UPC assigned to the product and issued in your company name.
Forth, Selling on Amazon is not what it was 25 years ago. Back then sellers could make up any listing they wanted with no problems, fake UPC's, and spam throughout the listing, Now, today with over 600 million products sold on the site, Amazon is not really interested in one more. Amazon wants you to just list under a product already on the site.
Fifth, Amazon always promotes a positive public image with its advertising and hype about selling on the site. However, once a seller tries selling on the site, they run into all kinds of different roadblocks such as yours, preventing the sale of a product.
Sixth, If you are a new seller on the site, own a B&M retail store, understand sourcing of merchandise, know how the retail sales business work, already have COC's for your products, and know how to operate a successful retail business, you will nave no problems selling on the site.
