Lab-Grown Diamond Policy Compliance Issues

We received multiple 'policy violations' for our lab grown diamond line today. These items are at risk of being removed from Amazon if the violations are not resolved within 2 days, not a lot of time!

However, the violations state we are not identifying the items as lab grown diamonds in the title or description, or that we are importing the jewelry from Russia.. despite the fact that it states lab grown in the title and the description and bullet points identify the items as lab-grown more than 6 times for each item (which has been confirmed by the appeals we have sent in). We also have a team of lawyers and certified GIA graduates on our team that have checked these items over and they are fully compliant with all laws, rules, and policies of the FTC, and we show the country of origin as not Russia for sure, nor is Russia ever mentioned in our listings! We dont have a single item that comes from Russia.

When we attempt to appeal these, it just comes back asking for proof that we are not sourcing from Russia, which is basically Amazon strong arming us to get our lab grown diamond supplier details. Something tells me Amazon is trying to get into the lab grown diamond game, next thing you know our supplier will be telling us that Amazon has been contacting them to try and purchase from them...

Very helpful Amazon. Case 19495995081 if anyone from Amazons forum teams wants to look at this.

For anyone who may have seen the same, we eventually got to talk to Amazons listings team and someone from the team had decided amazon is going to treat all lab grown as imitiation diamond, even though the FTC and most recognized jewelry authorities determine that lab grown diamonds are considered real.

As such, amazon was demanding lab grown diamonds should be labeled as imitation diamonds. The listings team eventually came to its senses and pulled back on its update.
