How to know if the buyer is a fraudster
A so funny case. At the beginning, a buyer told us that he never received the package while we have checked and confirm the package was successfully delivered and have delivered photo. So, we demand the buyer to contact the Policeman or FedEx staff, we will provide service after we receive the Police Case Number or chat record with FedEx staff. Then, so funny that, in next day, the buyer told us that he have received package but the ring size is wrong and want to return for full refund, lol. Now, we demand the buyer help us measure the ring size for checking but absolutely he will never do that, lol.

I recently had a book order to FL. Within hours of its delivery the customer said he didnt receive it and do I have a picture of the delivery. No USPS doesnt take pictures. I opened a case with the USPS and sent him the case number, never heard back from the customer.

You probably shouldn't be asking them for ring size measurements and just let them do a return through Amazon and make sure you get the correct item back. Amazon's policy is not to give customers a hard time who want to do returns.

Its Amazon and we have been around for awhile and now every order we take images and video during shipping as you almost need to expect something on all orders as Amazon spent over a decade teaching their base to demand and expect FREE! Amazon is a tainted platform that everyone know it is run bu BOTS and how to play the BOTS. Do not let fraud and abuse slide take action report these customer for abuse leave seller notes so you know to cancel any orders if they try again.

If you make demands like this, Amazon will refund and you will be out of luck.
You don't know what you are doing.

Hi everyone,
I’m also experiencing the exact same issue as you mentioned. The buyer received the package but claimed they never got it. I have the delivery photo as proof, but my SAFE-T claim keeps getting denied.
It’s been going in circles: when I open a case, Amazon tells me to file a claim, but the claim support sends me back to open a case again. It’s really frustrating as a new seller.
Does anyone have any advice on how to resolve this? I’d really appreciate any help.

First of all, do a internet search for the phrase "Porch Pirate".
Discover the seemingly endless amount of video footage of packages being delivered to unattended locations only to be stolen after delivery.
Now consider that every one of those stolen packages ALSO displayed as delivered, even those with delivery photos.
This is why Delivery Confirmation in Tracking, and even delivery photos do not prove the Buyer is "A Fraudster".
Amazon is not "Your" website, and you agreed to specific policies and procedures when you signed-up to Sell here.
And by violating these policies, you are setting yourself up for a MASSIVE FAIL.
An Amazon Buyer may initiate a Return of ANY order, for ANY reason.
A Seller may NOT require ANY actions be taken by the Buyer OTHER than to repack the Returning item and give the package to the correct Carrier.
No photos, no Police Reports. NOTHING.
It seems as though they MAY have been trying to pull a fast one, or PERHAPS they really couldn't find the package when first checked, and then checked better after receiving your message. You can never PROVE either way.
And PERHAPS it really IS the "Wrong Size".
IT. DOES. NOT. MATTER.
I repeat: An Amazon Buyer may initiate a Return of ANY order, for ANY reason.
I repeat: A Seller may NOT require ANY actions be taken by the Buyer OTHER than to repack the Returning item and give the package to the correct Carrier.
Just so you realize, IF the Buyer actually files an A-Z Claim, they WILL "Win", and you WILL "Lose", simply on the basis that you did not authorize a Return of their purchase.
So, if that happens, lol, right?

That's why we don't sell expensive items on here. This is the only platform where the customer routinely does not receive their packages. Interesting how most every other platform they receive them. I "wonder" why?

we encounter this regularly. I always track immediately and inform the customer we have proof of delivery and provide the exact time and location of the delivery. Sometimes we do not even have a picture, but about 80% of the time after giving the buyer this info they never message back, and when they do we feel those are legitimate cases of theft or package dropped at a neighbors in error and about half the time they say they have located it after doing more looking around and asking neighbors.

Think about it if we can not sell our high dollar items , our name branded items mostly suppressed due to BS compliance issues , every customer knows jut tell the Amazon chat bot you did not get item and likely a full refund in 2 minutes how does a platform survive on whats left as customers are going other markets sellers are now going to other markets thanks to Amazon price suppression which we now check every other platform first before we decide if we even want to waste time on amazon. This is Amazon consider every customer a fraudster until they prove otherwise. It seems at this rate how dead Amazon is we are upping all pricing we are no longer selling items at a loss or low pricing as Amazon no longer can do the volume to make it worth out time with lower prices especially at current levels of 1 in 10 orders are coming back with some kinda nonsense reason.

No need to push your luck on this as at the end, the customer will be the one LOLing.. just ask him to return it via Amazon as customers can return items for any reason they chose.... and move on.
