Read onlyCouple weeks back I created two listing manually. These listings were same product but different colors. For both of these listing I entered a diiferent SKU as well. I already made shipping plan and send products to Amazon. Now weird thing is that these are both different poruducts in color but they have the same ASIN. I see that they have different FNSKU number so somwhow I missed that they have same ASINs. These products were supposed to have two different ASINs. I am not sure how even this is going to work from advertising or customer placing order and if they will get the correct color or not. What do you suggest ?
The SKU has NOTHING to do with Amazon. It is for YOUR use only. Amazon needs UPC's to recognize products are different
My guess.....is that you created these two items as variations of each other. In that case they will have the same parent ASIN and different child ASINs. To see the actual ASIN of the product go to the product detail page on Amazon and scroll down to Product information section. There you'll see the ASIN for the specific item.
Hello @Seller_0kdHDiMvVP2N4,
Thanks for posting your inquiry. I've reviewed the details. Please refer to the latest update from Support in case 16163482051: "After further checking we see that customer can able to get only the SKU SpaGrey when they order. We have checked for both the SKU its getting only SpaGrey in detail page. So they will get only grey item.
In order to fix this issue we request you create removal for any one listing and get the units back. After that you can delete the listing and create new listing for that.
Once the listing is created with different ASIN you can able to sell both the product."
You can find details about how to do the removal order in the Remove inventory overview page.
Please refer to this update and feel free to update your case or create a new one if you have any other questions.
Regards,
- Manny
