Extremely frustrated with compliance team, why they are rejecting lab reports blindly ? Also removing listing.

We are extremely frustrated with the compliance team's practice of rejecting reports without proper review. The lack of transparency and arbitrary dismissal of reports is causing significant operational disruptions.

We have a valid lab report from an ISO 17025 approved lab. Our packaging complies with Reese Law requirements. Product images and model numbers are clearly included in the lab report. Please go through following images.

We had case open and submitted these documents multiple times, yet the compliance team fails to review our documents, and they’re rejecting documents. Also, removed listing.

There are two forces at work here. The program team and the compliance team.

The program team believes that they are absolutely right, every single time.

Also, we are facing difficulties with another listing where we are getting emails from amazon to submit compliance documents, but we are unable to find it in the compliance dashboard. Now, the listing is deactivated and we don’t have any option to submit the documents. ASIN for this listing is B0DJHKBQ2H , Kindly help.

You need to appeal with these images on the following cases:

  • CASE ID 15238259061 (associated to ASIN ending in N9DM)
  • CASE ID 15936220931 (associated to ASIN ending in C1FX)
  • CASE ID 15238451451 (associated to ASIN ending in 9PP3)
  • CASE ID 15238555021(associated to ASIN ending in Q9MK)

I cannot submit the images for your or appeal for you. I only escalate cases that have not been reviewed in some time.

As for ASIN B0DJHKBQ2H, I have submitted a request to the compliance team to review CASE ID ending in 8051 to see if the documentation on that CASE is enough for ASIN ending in BQ2H to be reinstated. I will follow up with you as soon as I hear back from them.

I've been dealing with this same nightmare for the last couple of months. Amazon flags the listing for compliance and deactivates the listing. As the Seller we submit all the documents using approved Amazon lab reports, and end up going back and forth resubmitting multiple times because each time we submit there is something different/new they ask for on the document.

What is infuriating is that many times Sellers have more knowledge of the compliance requirements than those reviewing the documents. What is even more infuriating is that Amazon expects Sellers to be perfect in every area of the business and has harsh penalties for Sellers that don't follow the rules, yet Amazon continues to fumble something that is so important like Consumer Product Safety, and there is seemingly no accountability on their end.

I had a listing go down for THIRTY days while I went back and forth with the compliance team. After 7 submissions what was the result? They removed the compliance requirement and stated it was no longer needed. Huh!?!?

An update on ASIN B0DJHKBQ2H compliance documentation review.

  1. The Test report for Reese warning labels are provided for a different model and not for B0DJHKBQ2H
  2. The images of Reese warning labels on the detail page and submitted to the Compliance Team are not physically on the product (they are digital) which we are not able to accept.

Please provide the warning label attached to product or provide the warning label on the physical package. Thank you.
