✅ Prevent Future Suppressions
- Check your Listing Quality Dashboard regularly. It flags issues before they become suppressions

6. I have listings with "violations" saying product attribute abuse causing attributes to be suppressed. But products are available in search. All attributes and description are showing. Who knows.
I don't get it - Amazon will repeatedly say something like "attribute abuse" but refuse to disclose what is triggering the "violation".
I asked AI for help and got all sorts of stupid stuff such as your product isn't Christmas related so using Christmas in the Occasion field cannot be used.
One of the challenges is Amazon's secret banned keyword list. Want to tell a customer you ship USPS so they make sure to use their address where they get mail delivery? Nope. Violation even though it helps customers, helps delivery, and avoid INR claims.

4 and it's almost always either a bot error or a site that will never take sales from Amazon, on 100% MAP products

This seems to be the main reason my products are suppressed:
"Product detail page was search suppressed 299 days agoReason: 'Product Description' is required but missing.You are not authorized to fix this issue. A contribution from the brand owner or an authorized reseller is required to resolve this issue and activate the ASIN. If you are the brand owner or an authorized reseller for this brand, please apply for the appropriate role for this brand in Amazon Brand Registry. If you need further assistance, please contact Support."
I am not authorized to fix it, I did not create the listing. Nothing I can do!

Thank you all for your responses on this! One of our CMs who specializes in the Create and Manage listings category will be on this thread to help shortly, but please make sure you create individual discussion threads in that category if you need someone to deep dive your specific cases as well (adding case IDs directly to the thread you create also expedites the research process for us).

Currently we can't sell furniture, our bread & butter, because we had ONE >500 lb shipment (80 items), for which Amazon provides NO valid shippers, so we used our own, and had our listings suppressed as a result.
No appeal, process, forum post, etc. would fix this problem, but all would imply they could, resulting in a huge time sink. Insult on top of injury.
So in short, I'd say #5: Amazon's stupid processes and broken rulesets are the biggest obstacle to keeping my listings on Amazon.

Amazon should have zero say in what a 3rd party seller wants to sell their items at.
Its constant price fixing by Amazon.
Amazon should not be controlling sellers prices on items they have no idea what we pay for them.
Back in the day this was a non issue, now with their Stupendess Price fixing issue, its all the time.
Let us choose what we want to sell items for. Amazon loses so much business because of this, as sellers now take all of their priced fixed items to ebay and sell the item for what its actually worth.

4. Price, all day.
Amazon's Fair Pricing bot is seriously broken; we get so many high price errors with no obvious comps to be found. The bot is poorly programmed, filled with bad data, and backed up by Seller Support that are not well trained. The Fair Pricing Bot is tantamount to price fixing and needs to be pulled immediately.

Yes, we have moved many items over to other marketplaces and got higher prices with comparable volume.
I think Amazon does not care, they appear to have moved to a more advertising (PPC) model to drive earnings. Sad but this is what we have.
