Read onlyI've tried to be a helpful member of this community, but I'm experiencing inconsistent moderation that makes it impossible to contribute effectively:
What's particularly confusing is that the feedback I receive from both post authors and forum moderators (like @Topher_Amazon's recent "Thanks as always for the helpful breakdown and link for OP, MH!" (link)) seems completely disconnected from these moderation actions. How can my contributions be simultaneously appreciated and punished?
I genuinely want to continue contributing to this community, but without understanding what I'm doing wrong, it's becoming impossible to know how to participate appropriately.
I hope most of you have come to know me as a rather rational person, but let me express an emotion this once: this is truly disheartening. Maybe it's time to reconsider how and where I can best contribute my time.

Buddy, I could have sworn you were an AI chatbot unleashed on the forums by Amazon.
All your posts are exactly the same - 'sorry to hear this is happening to you, here are some links to Amazon's help pages'.
Since you asked I will give you my opinion.
First the positive, you are very good at providing links to actual Amazon information related to the subject. You do clearly have the ability to do the research that others do not have.
The problem is the formatting of your response looks like AI (Artificial Intelligence) you even open every answer as if you are an Amazon Seller Support person. Most people come here to get away from that dribble.
What people would and do appreciate is AI (Actual Intelligence) and the ability to communicate on a personal level.
Many years ago we got help from the "Aces" Seasoned sellers that helped us through the long winding river that is Amazon. They spoke to us based on personal experience. This since they knew the Amazon information was often outdated or wrong.
It was as if I was listening to my favorite business talk radio host in the 1980's. They helped me, I appreciated them.
For that reason I gave back, that is until the forum was changed to the NSFE (New Seller Forum Experience) we have enough Amazonians trying to help. A (very smart) chatbot is not something that real people, sellers in trouble, appreciate.
Sadly the seasoned sellers for the most part are gone. I did pay it forward until the change, still do from time to time. Can't help it, I just want to help. As I am sure you do.
They are in another more open forum that grows everyday. Just sellers helping sellers since it is the right thing to do.
Back in the past forums, you could tell who had knowledge. Once, the card system, thus "Aces" were shown. Then it went to stripes, we got up to three stripes out of four before the NSFE was born.
Today, you can see it in the open stats on those that contribute here, just click on the users icon. I can see yours, you can see mine. People judge us by that.
I can not say if the suspensions you had were right or wrong. Like all things Amazon I don't have the details. We never will.
I will give you my thoughts. Unfiltered.
First, your posts - as others have intimated - come across as you "pretending" to be Amazon. If you are on the Amazon payroll, you need to state that upfront. (Since your posts do ooze a certain inauthentic concern for sellers, I suppose that is possible.) But if any mod is aware of this guy having "special dispensation" here, please share that with us.
Second, and more important, your motivation in posting here is suspect.
Due to the vast proliferation of your contributions, I see your posts as simply a promotion of your "quantified markets" enterprise. Since Amazon is the target of your business, I can only assume you are gathering information here - using this forum as a focus group of sorts - to keep your finger on the pulse of the Amazon seller, which in turn will be used as fuel for what you are really selling...a service to Amazon sellers.
Otherwise, what's in it for you? You spend an awful lot of time here and, I'm sorry, but no one can convince me that your investment here is simply altruistic.
I see your participation here as disingenuous, and your posts as spam.
Michael,
I just want to say that your replies to my questions have been uniformly helpful.
Some of the replies here have a touch of paranoia IMO. That may be "normal" given Amazon's treatment of its sellers, but I think the targeting of you is unfair.
Best wishes -
Nancy
I'd seriously consider doing a blog or "help pages" on an online platform, not connected to Amazon, where you can speak freely without repercussions!
I, too, experienced those inconsistencies and the only reason I am commenting on this at all is because I saw this on my Seller Central home page. I left the forums a while back. Its not worth it.
