For a second time I am getting an email asking to verify my charging method, this is an AMEX which at this point is only being used exclusively for Amazon to charge my business.
All charges are there, and I call my bank to see if there has been any unsuccessful charges attempt, declined or anything, the last charge attempt is there and fully processed.
I have been able to resolve this issue by just retyping my credit card, but being the second time, now I am concerned that could impact more in the future.
Is there any recorded issue with American Express cards?.

It's Amazon so glitches can appear on any card out there. Amex is on the list of OK ones but double check some things first --
CREDIT CARD
First, be sure it is an actual CREDIT Card. While Amazon claims that a Debit Card will work, that is seldom true!
Put the card number into your BUYER side account first. Wait an hour (sometimes less) for the gerbils to work their way through the system and then put it in the SELLER side.
Amazon is weird on so many levels and this seems to work at least sometimes!
I use my AMEX card, no problem.
Amex is not a debit card. You should be fine unless there is another reason.
I am reading a lot of whacky things on here, Amazon is cancelling accounts, not taking credit cards. It is clearly just a matter of time for everyone to get hit with something silly. I got my fingers crossed.
Hi @Seller_hjHIU1FyDHcSn
Connor from Amazon here, thanks for your question.
Have you reached out to seller support yet about this issue yet? If you have, can you share case IDs with me so that I can take a look.
