Working with this monster is already impossible! They rob sellers at absolutely every stage of the process. And now this placement fee… it’s just insane! The placement fee is now more expensive than shipping from china to the U.S. Can you imagine? A shipment traveling 20,000 miles costs less than this ridiculous placement fee!

And this isn’t even domestic shipping within the U.S.—it’s just permission to send to one warehouse instead of five. In my case its 1500$ for just 1 shipment!!!

If I have a small shipment of 10 units and want to send it to Amazon, they make me ship to the farthest five states, two units per location. That means I have to buy five labels instead of one!

Why stop there? Why not force us to ship to 100 warehouses instead of five? If I have to buy five labels, the product is no longer profitable. And it’s the same with the placement fee—you pay extra to send to one warehouse, but they still place it on the opposite side of the country!

Why?! Why should I overpay just to send my products to you? This is not profitable in any scenario, and the only option left is to raise prices again. How can you compete with Chinese marketplaces? They don’t have such outrageous fees like you do. They will win!

What happens if I follow amazon's guidelines and send in 5 boxes of all same quantity, same asin but amazon loses 1 or more? for example i send in the same FNSKU in all 5 boses of 100 each, but amazon miss counts 1 or so and loses 1 asin, will i then be charged inventory placement fee for the WHOLE SHIPMENT since its not even ?? or just for that quantity of missing ASIN??

so in this example, will i get charged a placement fee for 499 items? or just 1 item? because we all know amazon very easy loses stuff in the warehouse, even if it's one item, and good luck proving they are missing one item, it's not even worth it, but if i get charged a placement fee then that changes everything. Mods please help

I sent amazon a shipment of 2,400 units they say they recieved 2526, defiently not possible for our case packs. I had pictures of the pallets and submited a case. It took awhile but amazon removed the additional 126 units from the shipment log. HOWEVER they still charged me a higher placement fee AND a monthly storage fee on the units they never recieved and admitted to not getting. To make matters worse the additional placement fee when I set up the shipment was $528, the final placement fee charge was $682.. yet amazon says there is no reimbursement necessary as $528 and $682 are the same numbers... attaching the email from amazon support as well as what the placement fee charges should have been.

I also have a shipment inbound for amazon right now and guess what they checked it in and said they got an additional 400 UNITS WTH!!! so is this the new norm scam for them?
