Hello. I am a new seller on Amazon and tried to set up my product listing for a book, but I was blocked from Amazon for cryptic reasons that make no sense. Can anyone help me understand why it doesnt work and what I can do to sort it out. This is my own product with a proper ISBN number and yet I cannot sell it for some reason. This is very dissapointing.

This is Amazons response:

We see that your product listing shows as inactive and requires approval. And when you click on request approval, it says your account has no permissions.

We inform you that to protect our customers and maintain their trust, we place selling restrictions on certain products. We may place restrictions to ensure that the products sold in our store are safe, authentic, or meet local and regional regulations.

For certain restrictions, Amazon requires sellers to submit an application through Seller Central for review. If your request is approved, you will be able to list the product. However, we may not accept applications for every product on which we place selling restrictions on.

Therefore, as previously informed your account does not currently meet the criteria required to list these products due to account metrics, distribution pathways of the brand, or other factors.

I have used Amazon for my seasonings for 6 years. I have not added a new product since earlier this year (before many more changes in the format have been made). This week, I added a new parent with children products but cannot find where to put the expiration date now! I have looked and looked and for some reason I cannot find it on any of my attribute tabs on my new product (food) to list the expiration.

My account was deactivated a few months ago. I sent all the invoices, but they are not enough for Amazon; now, I want to close my account and get my stock back. But Amazon is telling me that in order to do that, my account needs to be active. SO I am in a vicious circle, I cannot get my product back, I cannot close the account, and Amazon is still charging me. I have opened many tickets and the answer is the same. Any help?
