How will Amazon ensure buyers don't abuse this program by requesting partial refunds on all eligible products, treating the partial refund program as a "post-purchase coupon"? Sellers would be foolish to opt into this program if this question isn't answered convincingly.

Can Amazon share any real data proving that this program reduces the rate of returns, chargebacks, customer service contacts, or other unwanted interactions?

i never do partial refunds here or anywhere else I sell.
If it's bad enough to complain, send it back.
I feel like it's just another avenue for scammers to take in harrassing us for undeserved discounts.

Stop giving stuff away for free. Encourages bad customer behavior at businesses expense. Nothing good comes from it.

But I have set up a partial refund policy for all products, with a 99% refund rate. After a month, no one has chosen a partial refund, and I seriously suspect that this policy is not currently in effect. When I set the refund only option, almost all refund orders are only refunded, but there is no buyer option for the 99% refund rate. Please answer my question. Thank you

If a customer accepts a partial refund, will the option to return the item for a full refund be removed for the order? Can a mod confirm this?

Can a mod please answer if the full refund/return the item option will still be available if I turn on the partial refund? So the customers have the options for a full refund/return and partial refund/no return?
