Sponored Products Ads - Low or Zero Impressions

@Joey_Amazon My top selling ASIN was recently out of stock for a period of 6 weeks. After coming back into stock it would appear my sponsored products campaigns are on life support with low or zero impressions and no indication of improvement despite my best efforts to push bid prices up.

I opened a case (16697373811) with the Ads team and they told me there was a featured offer issue with the ASIN resulting in low impressions, where the 7 day average was below 50% resulting in my ads not being shown. (See Attached). I consulted with seller central and they confirmed the ASIN has the featured offer and this shouldn't be an issue. Looking at the business reports it's showing a 99.69% buy-box percentage for last 7 days. In the two screen shots attached you can see the ad performance of the ads on a typical day before going out of stock and then yesterday having been back in stock since 13th November..

I have opened a case and have spent hours on chat this week with both teams at seller central & the ad team. No one seems to understand what's going on and I believe it's been escalated but no one gives any update. I feel like I'm banging my head against the wall with this issue.

I read a case on the forum last month where a seller had a similar issue. I believe it was down to "The Entity is NOT Servable in Fenix".

I wonder if the same thing is happening here? It feels like it's a reporting issue somewhere in the ads server set-up thats preventing my ads from being shown.

Hi @Seller_2KDKQyMTHCT6m,

The $6 CPC in the first screenshot and $3.68 CPC in the second stood out to me, especially given your $15 product price. While ACoS wasn’t your issue here, those bid levels should ensure that bids themselves aren’t limiting your ad reach.

Could it be that the campaign’s daily budget or budget rules are restricting traffic? If the budget is too low and gets fully spent after just a few clicks, it might impact how Amazon includes your ads in auctions. Since ad auctions need to run incredibly quickly to avoid slowing down page load times, Amazon might exclude ads from sellers whose budgets could run out after only a few bids. This is just speculation on my part, but worth considering. Given your bid levels, you might need a daily budget of $200 or more to ensure that budget limitations aren’t affecting your reach.

On the bright side, the 141 units ordered from 234 sessions (third screenshot) is a phenomenal conversion rate. I’m guessing this might be influenced by pent-up demand from the out-of-stock period rather than your usual numbers—correct me if I’m wrong! If those were regular figures, that would be amazing for you.

Hopefully, these thoughts help a bit while you wait for updates on the escalation.

Hello @Seller_2KDKQyMTHCT6m- thanks for looking to the forums for some support on this topic.

I connected internally with Amazon Ads support to request an update to your provided case ID. If you could also provide me with your Amazon seller support case ID, I would like to take a look at the product specifics as well. As far as the current status of the ASIN, is it still showing as in-stock and positioned as the featured offer?

Thanks for letting me know!

-Danny
