Amazon Handmade - Restricted edit permissions - no longer have access to my brand - What is going on?
My very best sellers most of which are FBA, suddenly do not have descriptions or bullets showing for the customers POV. I can see everything when I try to edit the listing but I have this message in the edit screen,
"Restricted edit permissions
Since you are not the brand owner for this product, you can only create an offer for this ASIN. You are not authorized to make or request an update for any other attribute for this product. If you are the brand owner, please make sure you’re registered in Brand Registry and this ASIN is registered to your brand."
I am not sure what to do. I can't edit my listings and have it show up for customers POV. I have opened a ticket but they don't seem to be able to help me. I though it was a problem with my brand. Some of my listings have my brand and some say Generic. When I tried to create a new listing I was told I need to register my brand...supply pictures with my brand on my product and packaging but I am handmade....I don't have my brand name on each item I make or packaging with my brand printed on it. When I tried to explain that I already was approved years ago and that dozens of my listings already have my brand they did not seem to care.
I can't seem to get my listings changed that have my brand, I can't create new listings and I can no longer edit my listings that Amazon changed to generic. I'm am very frustrated. My sales are trash and I can't fix any of my listings. I can't create new ones. I have product at Amazon warehouses and it won't sell since there are not listing descriptions.
I feel totally abandoned by Amazon.

UPDATE: I a have gone round and round with support they are telling me I am not the brand owner and I cannot updated the listing.. I have been selling on Amazon Handmade since 2019. I hand make my items, I have been selling under my brand name this whole time and now I have lost all rights to them. I guess they are owned by know one. Can anyone help me?

This happened to me in a different way recently. It took weeks of constant complaining, many cases that went NOWHERE, and the assistance of a Handmade Account Manager to get my brand back. I was granted the waiver but they removed it from my account.
It looks like yours may be slightly different, it seems like they applied "Generic" to just some of your listings. Any chance you were assigned a Handmade Account Manager from handmade? They can plead your case internally.
Otherwise start with emailing support-handmade@amazon.com, at least then you aren't dealing with the generic support people like when you open a case.

It looks like yours may be slightly different, it seems like they applied "Generic" to just some of your listings. Any chance you were assigned a Handmade Account Manager from handmade? They can plead your case internally.
