Read onlyHello everyone, how are you?
My account was deactivated because of a product I listed, but I didn’t sell it. Amazon is requesting an invoice for the product purchase, but I didn’t buy this product since there were no sales on Amazon. (I do FBM)
I’ve also tried to close my account for some time now, but I haven’t received any response from Amazon.
I’ve tried contacting support, but no one replies; I only get automated messages.
Can anyone help me reactivate my account or close it?
Listing shows an intent to sell and it doesn't matter to Amazon if you actually sold any or not.
Providing what Amazon requests is the only way you're going to be able to recover your account. If you don't have an invoice, your account will not be reactivated.
So you were intending to drop ship? That, too would likely have gotten you deactivated in itself.
Deactivated accounts cannot be closed. It appears your best choice is to walk away and sell elsewhere. Amazon is a tough marketplace, and especially so if you haven't spent weeks reading and learning policy prior to beginning.
So you not only listed something you did not have authorization to sell, you DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THE PRODUCT!
Make sure your account is on the Individual plan so you don't get monthly fees, then walk away. You can't close an suspended account, and you can't recover from this, as you don't have the proper documentation that is required.
