We sell only products that buyers want. They sell themselves without the use of the USA President interference.

Now if Congress does something about Amazon's rampant buyer return fraud, that could make a substantial difference. The problem would be the decision makers in Washington, probably are part of the problem.

Too early to say for us just yet. We are booksellers and many educational as well as mass market books (and Donalds bible just saying) printed in China. Could be disruptive. Not sure how much DT wishes to be perceived as anti-reading....

I expect business will continue to flounder, as it has for the past three years.

Jewelry is a dying business, next to no demand, and all people buy nowadays is cheap China crap.

Artisans? Handmade jewelry? Made in USA? Pay anything more than scrap? People who have studied gemology and obsess meticulously over every word in listings to make sure it's accurate and FTC-compliant? Nahh, to the garbage bin with all that, we want Chinese junk for $5 that's "real gold". And Congress and Amazon applaud, cheer, and subsidize it all, too!

I'm so fed up with all of this, I work 16 hour days and make less than minimum wage doing it. Why do I bother?

Short term, I feel rosy about economic prospects. That said, I'm concerned about potential tariffs and obviously any new tariffs would increase prices for customers.

Is there ANY forum on the planet where politics is NOT discussed? Someone PLEASE point in that direction!

This is going to greatly affect my business. I import my product from overseas. People like to claim products from China are nothing but "junk" but I actually pay extra to make sure only the highest quality materials are used in production, which is reflected in the final product and in the feedback from my customers. I don't think I will be able to afford the high tariffs unless I astronomically raise my prices, which is next to impossible being that I'm having a hard time making a profit right now with the lower sales and raising Amazon fees. Sourcing from anywhere else will also cause a raise in prices.

I'm honestly genuinely concerned about how much my business will take a hit or if I will have to give up this business altogether that I've put my heart and soul into.

The pandemic under the last Trump regime boosted online sales.

The day after our sales were 50% higher than every other day for the year.

We also do not import from China and are handmade items so I expect business will improve.

US businesses tend to go up when there are higher restrictions on imports - In 2019 I had to start sourcing metal from Detroit instead of China which made a company about to close its doors very happy.

Well, if you want to bring Presidents into the discussion, it's a simple fact that the last three years have been the worst selling years for me in 12 years of selling. So there's that. Now if you think that this has something to do with who's in office, then fill me in on the connection.
