Hi! I am confused and need help - I cannot upload my products on Amazon because the account Credit card is supposedly Invalid. My credit card works everywhere, the details I entered are accurate, and I cannot get a human being to assist with this issue. Has anyone else had this exact issue and how can I resolve it? Thanks!

Is it a true credit card or is it a debit or prepaid card? You need a valid cc that is accepted internationally and charges interest to list/sell on Amazon. They will take the professional fee from a debit or prepaid card, but a true credit card is needed for account verification to list.
You have either incorrectly entered the credit card information or you have not entered a legit credit card. You may have entered a debit or prepaid card instead.
Credit Card Requirements, posted by @Sandy_Amazon
Amazon may take up to 48 hours to verify a card that has been entered.
Here are some information around Debit cards and Credit cards and requirements you should know registering your card.
-We definitely accept credit cards.
-We definitely don’t accept pre-paid cards.
-Debit cards have a range of permissions/functions depending on the bank, cardholder, etc. A debit card may or may not be accepted.
We verify your credit card based on the following requirements. Violating one or more of the requirements below will result in your card being denied by Amazon.
-The number you entered should match the number on your credit card.
-The billing address you entered should match the billing address on your credit card statement.
-The CVV code you entered should match the code on your credit card.
-The card expiration date should be at least 6 months from when you add the card.
-The card holder’s name you entered should match the card holder’s name on your credit card (in the Latin-script alphabet).
-The card should not be a prepaid, virtual, or gift card.
-The card should be chargeable in the currency of the Amazon store(s) for which the card is being provided.
-The card should have an adequate credit limit to pay for the charge.
-If you were asked to enter a unique security code by your financial intuition, the code you entered should match the code sent to the card holder via SMS, email, or token.
-If your card meets all the requirements above but is still listed as invalid, we recommend trying a different card or contacting your financial institution for further assistance. If you have tried at least two different credit cards that meet the requirements above and all of them were denied, reach out to Amazon selling partner support for assistance.
Thank you - yes, we followed this protocol and meet ALL the requirements, yet it still is invalid. So I wonder if there is a way to talk to a human to get this resolved at amazon?
its a credit card that is linked to a credit line and not a bank account correct?
Me, too. I even checked with my bank to make sure there was no problem on their end. Unfortunately, I have learned there are no human beings to talk to at Amazon, only bots with the same algorithms. As to the debit card thing, I used it for months without it being a problem. Recently, I updated with my credit card to no avail. I have no solutions, unfortunately. Welcome to the Amazon fraud club.
Way over my head. But thanks anyway.
Was anyone able to figure this out? I am having the same issue. My credit card meets all requirements but Amazon keeps saying it is invalid. I've called the financial institution which validated that the card is working properly. I've contacted Amazon customer service multiple times and they cannot figure out the issue.
I am having the same problem. Overnight my card was deemed invalid - although nothing changed. I spoke with 2 service reps who have no idea what the problem is. They have escalated it so hopefully it will be resolved between "a few hours or a few days." Very frustrating!
