Items "lost" from shipment to German FBA storage

Nearly every time when I ship to DE FBA storage (HAJ1) some items (last time as many as 5, what i big value for me - over 100 Euro) are stolen. I suggest there is not enough security and someone who unpack it just takes it. I am so angry. I paid all these items, I packed it, labelled it, paid for transport. And now - somebody has stolen it. NEARLY EVERY DE SHIPMENT. It does not happen in another country. I ship to Canada, US, UK.. and nothing was stolen there. But 80 % of shipments to DE means for me - lost money and being hopeless.

Hi @Seller_mdYVGQFCSc9JP,

I'm so sorry you're experiencing these losses.

The good news is that Amazon has a clear reimbursement policy for lost inbound inventory. You can find all the details at FBA inventory reimbursement policy. Under the "Claims" section, there's a specific process for "Shipment to Amazon claims" that should help you recover your losses.

When Amazon approves these claims, they'll either replace your items with identical ones or reimburse you the estimated proceeds (that's the estimated sale price minus the usual fees). This is explained in the "Reimbursements" section of the help page.

Hope this helps.

Hi @Seller_mdYVGQFCSc9JP,

I appreciate you reaching out on the Seller Forums! I'm just coming across this thread and wanted to check in, has there been any updates to this shipment since posting?

If you're still experiencing discrepancies, have you requested an investigation via the Contents tab of your shipment? If you haven't done so already, I would highly recommend doing so now. For more information on requesting an investigation, please read through this help page.

If this is not resolved after that investigation, please send me your shipment ID and case IDs. I'd be happy to take a look to see how I can help further!

Thanks so much,

Jameson
