  • Any product that makes antimicrobial, antifungal, antibacterial, anti-mold, or pesticide claims

In order to be approved to sell you will need to complete the Pesticide Claims and listings course on Seller University.

The important things to know when selling Pest Control and Pesticide products is to:

  1. Ensure you have gotten approved to sell Pest Control and Pesticide Products by following the qualification steps.
  2. Determine if your products are subject to EPA Registration requirements.
  3. Ensure that your products have your EPA information added to the listing. Your products also may have State Pesticide Registration requirements so be sure to check with appropriate State Pesticide Regulatory Agencies.

In general, Selling Pest Control Products and Pesticides can be easy if you set yourself up for success! If you have had difficulties feel free to make a new thread with your details and we will investigate to see what options exist!

Greetings @Glenn_Amazon!

I’m reaching out for assistance regarding a compliance roadblock we’ve encountered while trying to list our new FIFRA 25(b)-compliant mosquito repellent patches on Amazon. Below, I’ve outlined all the steps we’ve completed to ensure full compliance with both FIFRA regulations and Amazon’s requirements:

Steps Taken for FIFRA 25(b) Compliance:

  1. Formulation Validation: Ensured the product complies with FIFRA 25(b) exemption criteria (natural active ingredients and inerts on the approved EPA list).
  2. Labeling Compliance: Updated our product labeling to meet EPA guidelines, including all required disclaimers and no unapproved claims.

Steps Taken for Amazon Compliance:

  1. Seller University Training: Completed the required “Pesticide Claims and Listings” course on Seller University.
  2. SDS Documentation: Uploaded Safety Data Sheets (SDS) confirming that our product is a FIFRA 25(b) exempt, low-risk pesticide.

The Problem:

Despite completing all the above steps, we are encountering the following error:

“Request approval: > Your account does not qualify. To sell pesticides and pesticide devices on Amazon.com, you must be a resident of the USA. For more information, please refer to our Pesticides and Pesticide Devices policy.”

Impacted ASINs:

The following ASINs are affected by this issue:

• B0DRW9J9JL

• B0DRW512Q3

• B0DRW6719C

• B0DRW5L7HQ

• B0DRW62N9G

• B0DRW48NKQ

Clarification and Request for Assistance:

• Our business operates internationally, but we have established a U.S.-based entity to meet residency requirements.

• We’ve ensured that all compliance steps are fulfilled, including those outlined in the Pesticides and Pesticide Devices policy.

• It appears there may be an issue with how our account is flagged in the system.

Could you provide guidance on how to resolve this issue? Are there additional steps we need to take to demonstrate compliance or meet the residency requirements for pesticide-related products?

Thank you in advance for your support!

Best regards, Bugser
