It was great getting to meet all the sellers that attended in person and connect with new sellers who wanted to know more about the Seller Forums experience. 🙌

Also the Accelerate Virtual Scavenger Hunt on the forums was a blast! It was really cool to be able to gather feedback from our virtual sellers on how they were enjoying Accelerate and what they were looking forward to next. 😊

Thank you @Micah_Amazon for being our Accelerate hype man for the last few months. You did a great job at spreading the word here around the forums about the event.

I can't wait to see what's in store next year as we continue to make Accelerate a bigger and better event for our sellers! 🎉

Cheers, Cooper_Amazon

Accelerate was a whirlwind of information. Meeting the Seller Forum team and other Amazon business units was the best part for us. We got questions answered in one conversation that have not been answered in many back and forth cases with Seller Support. Also the Seller Cafe appointment was very helpful and we will be sure to sign up for an appointment next year.

Lots of wasted time and I will not be attending next year. The facility "help desk" was about as helpful as the seller support help you get on the phone which is not very helpful at all. They did know basic questions like where is the closest bathroom. Also I participated in supposed to be $250 amazon gift card give away that im 100% sure was was bs since no winners were ever announced and once again the "help desk" had no idea what I was talking about.

From my case log:

I’m writing to address a serious issue regarding the balance you claim is due on my deactivated seller account. To be clear, my account has been inactive for some time now, and before deactivation, I specifically arranged for all inventory to be destroyed, not returned.

I find it unacceptable that I’m being billed for a balance on an account that has had no activity since its deactivation. This appears to be a clear oversight on Amazon’s part. I demand an immediate review of my account and expect this matter to be resolved without any further unnecessary charges or delays.

Please correct this error and confirm that there are no outstanding balances on my account. I expect a prompt response and resolution.

Not only did Amazon not respond on multiple occasions, they have since tried to charge every charge method Ive ever had on Amazon to get this money. I now have spoke with my lawyers and will be fighting this till the end. Ive been fighting Amazon for the 2 years Ive had FBA for and this platform is the WORST place for people trying to sell things online. I could name ANY OTHER platform and they all would be better for a seller. Look at my past posts to see how bad things have been with Amazon since starting.

Not only did they not listen to my Disposal request and settings, they sent back around 800-1000 books ONE BY ONE. I would get a massive box packed with paper and 1 book, this is how Amazon gets their money by cutting profits, raising fees, increased shipping, and things like this which make this platform so bad. If I could give a new seller on this platform some advice, NEVER use FBA unless you know 100% you can make it work and check out other places to sell that dont treat Sellers (where Amazon makes most of its money from btw) this poorly.

Lastly, Amazon. My lawyers will be in contact

Been going every year after the pandemic.

Love the networking and access to actual Amazonians (and fellow sellers). Seller Cafe is kinda the crown jewel of the event (and for bigger sellers, pays for the event many times over). Wish there was a bit more advanced workshops for 7+ figure sellers; most workshops and breakouts definitely feel very beginner-intermediate or just outright sales jobs to whichever department/company hosting them.

So good job to y'alls hosting the conference itself.

But... if Accelerate was a 4.5/5 experience, the rest of sellercentral feels closer to a 2.5-3/5, especially with how dysfunctional seller support continues to be in the past few years. Honestly if Seller Support just functioned better (instead of nudging us sellers to get SAS for reasonably competent support) that would be a dream.

Not sure why Amazon's Buyer Abuse Prevention Team was merged with the A-Z Team. I can only speculate that it was because of the lack in having anything to present at the 2024 Conference

Sellers want to know WHAT Amazon is doing to stop buyer return abuse as it is rampant on the site. Of course, as soon as the presentation started and the announcement of the merger was stated, the presentation quickly turned to a new and easier to use A-Z form.

Well, this is supposed to be a benefit to 3rd party FBM sellers, but who is sorting out all of the Bad returns 3rd party sellers receive thru FBA?
