I do not hold out hope that this can be stopped before the damage is done, but here goes.
A new bot has been programmed, wound up, and let loose in the city. The damage is coming in, listing by listing.
The new target is "Offensive Products," more specifically:
"This product has been identified as one that is prohibited for sale or listing in our store. For more information, refer to Seller Central > Help > Content Restrictions > Offensive Products. We leveraged a combination of automated means to identify this issue and to make this decision."
We sell mostly groceries--the casualty list reads like this:
Morton Tenderquick, 2-pounds (Pack of 6)
Armour Treet Luncheon Loaf 12 oz (Pack of 12)
Van Camp's Beanee Weenee Original Flavor Microwavable Cups, 7.25 oz. (Pack of 12)
etc.
I'm sure words like "loaf," "weenee," and "tenderquick" could be suggestive/offensive--if you were in the fifth grade.
The larger punchline here is that AI is definitely not ready for prime time. On a smaller scale, presumably thousands of perfectly good listings are being turned into "Dogs of Amazon" pages, PERMANTLY.
That can't be good for business.
On the phone with Account Health or some such trying to straighten out two of our listings deemed offensive (also in grocery)
The took the code from the "seeds" bot and gave it a new directive. Just Fu$%ing wonderful.
A new and exciting Amazon terror bot on the loose.
Our listing was flagged for "Roughneck"
IMO, AI needs to completely go away. It's technology that runs amok with zero common sense.
Rubbermaid is seemingly unaffected.

I applied our "Offensive" violation and won pretty quickly. Just follow the steps to appeal.
"Hello, We received your submission for the following ASINs and we have determined that there are currently no restrictions on the listings. The following listings are active on the Amazon.com store:"
I had a book marked offensive because the author's middle name is Ra*e (pronounced Rap aa). I am having to relist the book with just the middle initial and create a new cover because of this.
MY product ASIN B08DDDCKD1 was removed because they identified it as a
GASTROINTESTINAL TUBE.
I have included many, many photos proving it is not a GASTROINTESTINAL TUBE. I have compared the product I sell to one, and Amazon insists it is a GASTROINTESTINAL TUBE.
This is like removing a BAGEL SLICER because it is identified as a GUILLOTINE.
I've had a lot of really good experiences as an Amazon seller, but this GASTROINTESTINAL TUBE thing has really shaken me up. I wish you all well—success in selling—and I hope this gets repaired quickly.
the bots have been on overtime randomly removing product descriptions and browse nodes from items, suppressing them, and not allowing them to be fixed/updated so there's that too.
I have the same problem and no one has the BALLS in customer service to fix things. Customer service is flat worthless. The worst of the worst. I sell gold panning supplies. They have taken down over 100 of my listings for Cocaine use. Are they really that stupid? I will give someone a million $$ if they can find a worse customer service than Amazon. Their motto is search and destroy. Clueless.
