GTIN Exemption for Prints

I have been trying to obtain GTIN exemption for my print brand but, unfortunately, I have not been successful so far — and I am starting to lose hope that I will be able to resolve this on my own.

I carefully followed the instructions in the application process and submitted clear images of the printed product, the branded packaging, and the mailing tubes I use for shipping.

In the rejection email, I was asked to:

“Provide images of all six sides of the product and tags, unless it’s not possible to capture a six-sided image (for example, a scarf). Please stretch the poster and take a photo of the back of the stretched poster.”

I complied with this request, sending photos of the poster’s back side as well. However, I then received another rejection email, this time including these points:

• Provide images of all six sides of the product and tags, unless it’s not possible to capture a six-sided image (for example, a scarf). Please stretch the poster and take a photo of the back of the stretched poster.

• The product or its packaging must not have a GS1-certified barcode. If a valid GS1-certified barcode is available, you can use it to list products instead of requesting a GTIN exemption. (It does not have this)

At this point, I even photographed the side view of the product (yes, I took pictures of ~ 0.4 mm thick sheet of paper) and submitted it. Yet I received the same rejection response with these points:

  • Branding is permanently affixed on the packaging and/or product.
  • You should provide images of all sides of the product and tags unless a 6-sided image cannot exist (for example, a scarf).

I am starting to feel unsure whether my submission is being reviewed by a real person or an automated system, and I am not sure what more I can do to meet the requirements.

I would kindly like to ask for assistance from a moderator or support representative who can guide me through this process and help clarify what is expected.

These are the last three IDs for my rejected applications:

17452345871

17451878551

17450887751

Thank you for your attention and help in advance.
