Read onlyThe USPS is recycling tracking numbers again in a disorderly manner:
The tracking numbers are showing delivered even before items are taken to the postal office, or delivered to completely different places. what follows is price adjustments for packages weighing Lbs, not ounces.
I am not surprised, given the chaotic state of affairs today. You just never know how the general chaos is going to hit you. In the meantime, buyers are asking for replacements or their money back for items you just printed.
And BTW this is the USPS, Amazon is working as it should, but all this mayhem might have an effect on metrics.
Hey there @Seller_XJk5RkDQR39p0
My colleague KJ is currently escalating such cases here where others are mentioning they are seeing this on Amazon and other platforms. We'll share any updates as we have them.

Having this problem too. Just realized the tracking number second and third 4 digits have changed my latest labels. The formatting for under 1lb USPS Ground Advantage from 9300 1201 1141 to 9300 1105 7101. I don't think this has effected Over 1lb or other USPS services.

A-Z kills sales every time. Just a couple of days ago, I received a message from Amazon stating that they paid an A-Z claim for an item that was never "delivered"... According to the tracking number, the item was delivered to a different address in a different state.
This is one of the USPS tracking numbers with a twin brother, sold by Amazon. It's not Amazon's fault, but just the same, it was an A to Z, and sales are down now.
That is not the USPS, that is your Postage Vendor! Switch ASAP to something else and you won't see that again. Tracking numbers are "pre-allocated or created on the Fly by the providers. They are all generally incompetent and lazy, never check to see if it's been used. All are assigned a "prefix" so the first 6-8 digits are always the same (prefix is different for each provider). There is a TON of providers, so if I see dupes, I email Support immediately and switch! Pirate, Stamps, Veeqo, or something else I will endure for a month or two. Had very few issues with ShipStation, but their "connector" is a nightmare. I always have 3 providers ready to go.
I NEVER use Amazon Buy Shipping. They are doing this absolutely fake "dimensional adjustments" on First Class packages under 15.99 oz. The USPS DOES NOT dim any package sent under 16 ounces unless it is over 30" long. Amazon is creating "fake adjustments" and billing us, as though these came from USPS......they do not, that is fake Amazon Billing. This problem is MUCH worse for UPS shipments, they are adjusting virtually every package (shows the same measurements we put in, but charging us another $2.00 - $8.00, what a Joke!)
Also the "Seller Protection" is not working. Lost packages are not reimbursed, and INR claims are always refunded then it's a giant hassle to get $$ back. I just avoid
