"Frequently returned item - Check the product details and customer reviews to learn more about this item"
I think I know the reason why customers are returning it is due to size. So I want to solve this for customers by adjusting the size of the product and launching it as a variation on the same listing to customers can choose a size that suits them. I think this will help with my high returns.
But if I launch a variation of size, will the badge "Frequently returned item" show on both the parent & child (all variations) or just the specific ASIN that has had the returns issues?
Anyone? I would like to know if it will have an impact on the variation. Thanks

The Frequently Returned Badge is calculated at the ASIN level. An ASIN's return rate is compared to similar ASINs in the same product category. If your ASIN has a higher return rate, it is determined to be a frequently returned ASIN. The return rate calculation is based on the number of shipped units for which customers initiated returns.
