So a family member a few months back purchased an item on Amazon, FBA and today, THIS showed up:
(Address blocked out for privacy)
The ASIN in question:
Looking at the reviews this is not the first time this seller has done this.
So we have a clear violation of Amazon policy, and a violation of customer information privacy. The question is will anything be done about this abuse?

There has been a lot of evidence that different rules apply to some designated groups of sellers.
It does appear that China sellers have been given a huge amount of leniency. I can remember this site before it was swamped with generic “branded” goods. There are other strategic initiatives such as freight consolidation from China. There was the thing about China Books being promoted to curry favor with Chinese authorities. I doubt Amazon wishes to affront those same authorities with stories of China based seller accounts getting terminated.
Just imagine if China ever gets cut off one day from the global economy same as Russia in recent weeks.
I have gotten similar review bribe cards recently for FBA orders, shipped to me by epacket and labeled as a free sample on the customs form.
FBA order and someone gets the PII…inside job.
Write to your local paper, local news, congress person.
Not the first time I’ve seen something like this. I honestly hardly buy from Amazon anymore because the marketplace is just littered with cheap, generic products like this. Unfortunately, the rules for Chinese sellers appear to be much different.
Why do I see manscaped jumping on this idea soon?
Amazon allows sellers with a 50% positive review rate to continue selling for over a year. They allow drop shippers to run rampant on the platform, even though it’s against their TOS. They also allow sellers to use Walmart and Sam’s Club in their storefront name without any consequences. Something tells me this will fall very low on their priority list. Need to dedicate more resources to finding creative ways to get more fees out of us.
At the risk of sounding really stupid…FBM I get customers addresses but FBA we only get city, state and name? So is this inside info?
