USPS Adjustments

My account is full of USPS Adjustments. This is the scenario:

My dimensions: 6" x 4" x 1"

Carrier dimensions: 6" x 1" x 4"

Getting charged an additional $.37 on all the 'adjustments'.

Found a couple more where the charge was $1.74.

THESE ADJUSTMENTS ARE FROM SHIPMENTS 9 MONTHS AGO!

Please make this make sense!

Yep, there are already many posts on the forums about it (and I encourage many more be made until this gets the attention it deserves). It's a massive, widespread issue Amazon has completely failed to acknowledge. I have hundreds of adjustments totaling hundreds of dollars, none of which have been explained or justified. I sell across many platforms and am only seeing this on Amazon. We are being robbed and on top of that gaslit that somehow we are responsible for the charges despite the fact nothing about my shipping processes has changed at all.

After the January USPS rate increases Amazon's systems were not collecting the correct updated amounts from us so now they're retroactively recovering those funds.

Same thing is happening after the July 12th USPS price increases.

You can find more detail about these charges in your financial reports.

there is no cut and dry method that works for getting reimbursed for adjustments. Someone can follow the exact same process as you and still get rejected

My transaction reports for the affected orders shows the original USPS charge in February and an adjustment made just recently as per the email, both of which add up to the amount currently reflected on those orders.

OK but the problem is you are claiming to know the basis for the adjustments when Amazon has not substantiated what you are saying. If it was in fact true that they are just collecting now what they should have to begin with, why does the email we all received not simply state that?

Seller Central often does not display updated information regarding carrier-audited dimensions and weight. Even if these show as matching the original label information, USPS may still have found differences in dimensions and weight and applied adjustments as a result.

I’m experiencing the same issue. Over the past two months, I’ve received numerous shipping adjustments across many orders, resulting in hundreds of dollars in unexpected deductions. I use Buy Shipping by Amazon, and my shipping process has not changed.

Some of the carrier-reported weights are completely inconsistent with the actual packages. I’m wondering if other sellers are experiencing the same issue.

I have gotten dozens of "adjustment" charges over the last couple of weeks. I used to get a couple every 2 - 3 months. Something is whacky. My work-around is to simply ship everything UPS Ground Saver. In many cases it is even less than the USPS "posted" rate, and shipments get there as fast or faster.
