We’ve updated the Product Bundling policy for consumables products in the grocery, pet product, baby product, and health and beauty categories to ensure that customers have access to the highest quality bundle selections in our US store.
Effective October 14, 2024, you can only list bundles that are created and offered by the original manufacturer, who must be the brand owner for all of the items in the bundle. This update also means that you can no longer mix products manufactured by different companies in the same bundle, nor can you list a bundle under the “Generic” brand or your own brand.
For example, you can list a Frito-Lay Mixed Chips Pack that's packaged by the manufacturer Frito-Lay, but you can't create your own bundle with two bags of Doritos and one bag of Cheetos, even though both products are made by Frito-Lay. You also can’t bundle the Frito-Lay Mixed Chips Pack with other products like paper towels or kitchen utensils.
To comply with the Product Bundling policy, you can create new bundle listings with products from a single manufacturer. We won't start enforcing the updated policy on your existing bundles until late Q4 2024, and we’ll give you 30 days’ notice through email and the Account Health dashboard when we identify non-compliant bundles that are scheduled to be suppressed.
To learn more, go to the Product Bundling policy.
Does this affect multipacks? 2-pk or 100-pk or only combined SKUS?

Are these two paragraphs not contradictory? Like someone else asked, does this impact multipacks because if so more than half of the grocery and healtha nd beauty catalogs are about to disappear.
The policy page states the following:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bundles that include consumable goods in the grocery, pet product, baby product, and health and beauty categories must follow these guidelines:
Only list bundles that are created and offered by the original manufacturer, who must be the brand owner for all of the items in the bundle. For example, you can list the bundle of Dawn dish spray and dish spray refills, which is originally configured and packaged by Dawn, but you can’t bundle Dawn products with gloves and sponges from another manufacturer.
Don’t rebrand any bundle product by adding non-manufacturer brand intellectual property to the product images or product title.
Don't list any packaging or unrelated items, including supplementary services, as a unique product in the bundle if you are not the manufacturer.
Don’t list bundles under the “Generic” brand, and don't list unbranded products in a bundle.
Display the barcode of the entire bundle clearly in the product image.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The image and text detail how the dawn dish spray is a non-conforming bundle yet that section states, "Bundles that include consumable goods in the grocery, pet product, baby product, and health and beauty categories must follow these guidelines".
That dawn product may be a consumable, but it shouldn't be listed in one of those categories (grocery, pet product, baby product, and health and beauty categories). Maybe I am missing something. Why is that example being used?
Also, further down the policy page states, "A bundle can be composed of different branded items, however the bundle itself should be branded according to the highest priced item in the bundle".
So, in the dawn example, why is it non-conforming? Because the gloves and sponge are NOT branded (generic)? Because it is in the wrong category? It isn't clear and doesn't make any sense. If the gloves and sponge were branded, this was not in the grocery, pet product, baby product, and health and beauty categories (should be in health and household category), and the ASIN was branded under the highest valued product (guessing dawn), would it be compliant?
The text and image also show that the manufacture created bundle (6 pack that Amazon retail is selling) IS compliant. Again, why is that being shown in this example as that product is in the Industrial and Scientific category: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CTX4Y5Y3
Maybe I am being too literal, but I would think that if we are showing examples of conforming and nonconforming products within a very small group of listed categories (grocery, pet product, baby product, and health and beauty), the examples would be products that are actually in those categories.
This paragraph requires that FIRST: Bundles must be created and offered by the original manufacturer, SECOND manufacturer must be the brand owner.
Moving on it says that YOU CAN CREATE new bundle listings with products from a single manufacturer.
WASN'T it the requirement that bundles MUST BE created by the ORIGINAL MANUFACTURER?

I want to know why suddenly Amazon is giving a warning and 30 days notice for this. I, and many others were deactived for THIS SAME THING 3 1/2 months ago with ZERO warning, ZERO policy violations, and I even had account health assurance (which obviously is a LIE on Amazon's part about how that works). So, even though such deactivations were known about within the Amazon community, you guys let countless sellers continue to get away with this (I have video proof from videos I made showing actual examples on Amazon) and now you give a 30 day grace period/warning!?!?!? Are you kidding me? What about all of us that you gave the death penalty to with ZERO warning? I have been a seller for over 14 years with ZERO suspensions, 100% positive feedback, great metrics, great customer service, and I don't even get so much as a one day warning, let alone 30 days?!?! I want some answers from someone at Amazon.
Unbelievable that you have deactivated my account for almost 4 months and treated me like a criminal. Yet today you come out with a policy that allows people to do exactly what you said I did that was wrong for up to 30 days after notification. Amazon needs to make this right immediately
It would be nice to have an explanation as to why sellers were deactivated in June for product bundling violations with ZERO warning, ZERO account issues, ZERO customer complaints, ZERO feedback issues, ZERO opportunities to remove them from the catalog and ZERO opportunities for reinstatement and others continued to sell similar bundles and NOW those same sellers that weren't deactivated get a grace period as well? I have plenty of video documentation showing the countless hundreds of sellers that continued to sell bundles after Amazon selectively deactivated only certain sellers. Amazon should right the injustice that was done to the sellers that were permanently deactivated in June for product bundling violations.
