Search Tool in Add a Product Doesn't Work

When searching for products with the "Add a Product" search tool, there are many products that will not show up in the results if I enter some or all of the product title, even if I copy and paste it directly from the listing. They will only show up as results if I search the ASIN.

Searching Amazon listings on the main website does not allow me to sort by "Generic" brand. So it would be helpful if I could search for all listings in the add product tool and check the "Generic" filter. But unfortunately, many products do not show up unless you search the ASIN specifically.

Does anybody know a workaround for this; a way to search for Generic/unbranded products, or a way to get the product search tool to list all products that contain the keywords?

Hello @Seller_ww4JmQV9RVD1x,

Thanks for your feedback regarding the Add a Product tool. The team responsible for this tool is constantly iterating and improving the search functions. Generally, there should be an option to search by a product's title, description, and keywords. Can you give an example of a product that you search which won't show?

Regards,

- Manny
