Read onlyDear Amazon Seller Support,
I am writing to escalate an ongoing issue that I have been trying to resolve for the past two weeks. Our listing’s brand name has been changed to an unrecognized name, "FQQF," and we have no idea how this happened. Despite opening three cases with both Seller Support and Brand Registry Contact Us, the issue remains unresolved.
The first time I reached out, I was told the issue would be resolved within 3 hours to 7 days. However, after waiting for 10 days, no changes were made. Since then, each new case I’ve opened has been closed, with instructions to go back to the Brand Registry Contact Us page — which, ironically, leads me back to the same place as before, exactly as mentioned in the email replies.
At this point, I am frustrated and unsure what steps to take next. It feels like Amazon is ignoring the problem entirely, and I am unable to get any clear resolution.
Please advise how we can resolve this issue and restore our correct brand name.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Hello @Seller_pMdV8aRLSJct0
My name is Sandy from the Community manager team.
Thank you for the details in this post. I have looked over the case and escalated to internal teams for review.
I see you are the ASIN creator of the ASIN.
Something I did want to clarify is that the history of the ASIN shows that the brand name was originally ORYX AUTO but not ORYX. Which this is your brand registered name. Would you please confirm if the ASIN was under ORYX that matches your brand registered name and when that was?
Best,
Sandy
We too have had some of our product brands changed to "FQQF" over the past few months. These products were using one of our brand registered brands and were impossible for us to fix. They all seemed to fix themselves within a few weeks. We figured it was a bad actor trying to use the Vendor Central hack... but apparently it isn't if you are having the exact same brand show up on your listings.
Yet another Amazon mystery.
Do you have different country listings? I for weeks had a similar issues and was told that I had to get permission from the brand owner (me) to change the listing as someone else had higher permission on the brand registry than me and any appeals got ignored. After about 6 weeks, someone in SS eventually said, update it in the USA despite me being UK registered and based and when I amended the US listing this fixed all countries, even thought the USA listing wasn't impacted to start with. Whilst this doesn't solve the listing take over, it may fix the end result of getting your brand back for now.
Welcome to the country of Hijackers. We are having same issue.
