RedPoints - how to deal with this company filling fake copyright infrigement claims
We received over 140 infringement warnings and our listings were taken off due to complaints from "RedPoints", the email address that file the complaint points to their website redpoints but we have emailed them several times asking them to remove their infringement claim and they never respond.
There is also no contact information for their US office in their contact page.
Amazon’s help (which is useless) their email communication says that if our product was removed by error to let them know so they can investigate… well, the fact that the company does not have a contact number should ring a bell to Amazon that they don’t have any grounds to remove the products, and even though we provided a letter from the manufacturer stating that we are an authorized distributor they still demand that the originator of the claim to retract it… well… we cannot contact them!
It seems that RedPoints make money by doing this, but it can also be as well a competitor taken down our listings, how do we make Amazon investigate claims by RedPoints and make them have a contact phone number if in fact they are legitimate?
Only a few listings were reinstated after we submitted documentation, it’s a hit and miss with Amazon’s support

Appears to be a company hired to protect brands from infringement. There are many.
Were you infringing on copyrights or trademarks?

Are you using your own brand, selling another brand, purchasing from a manufacturer, or what?
This is needed to know the next steps

Depends on Brand name and product. Manufacturer could be violating copyright. Are you buying direct from a manufacturer and branding it yourself?
If you are buying direct from manufacture and brand owner, you will need to contact them to contact Amazon, stating you are an authorized distributor. The brand owner likely hired RedPoint and they would have contacts to reach out to

After brief research, Redpoints appears to be a legit brand protection company. It appears to be entirely automated.
I cannot post the link because Amazon will remove it, but type in Redpoints infringement into google and you will find it. You can contacting them through their site, but it will still have to go back to Cambro.
Its very possible Cambro has started the process of bringing on a 3rd party to protect their brand. This has been extremely common lately. (in our industry) If this just started, maybe the executive team has not shared it with the rest of the company.
Best advice I can give you right now is to contact Cambro.

Hello @Catering_Online,
Thank you for posting on seller forums platform.
I’ve reviewed your post and understood that your concern is with respect to intellectual property violation.
I request you to share the particular complaint email notification you received where you mentioned that the rights owner is not responding and what was the plan of action sent to complaint.
Once we look into it, we will be able to assist you better with some pointers to reinstate the listing.
We look forward to hear from you.

Hello @Catering_Online,
Jackson with Amazon here.
Thank you for posting your performance notification. Based on what was discussed here, we want to make sure your issue is addressed in the best way possible. I have contacted the appropriate parties to provide the necessary guidance and reach out for further support.
In the meantime, let’s continue to investigate in tandem to potentially solve your concerns here.
Is there a common denominator with the listings that did accept your appeals? Did your letter of authorization contain all the requirements?
It must include your selling account contact information, the brand’s full contact information, and explicitly state you have authorization for this brand on our platform. If these points are clear on your document, you could request they provide documentation identifying themselves as the brand owners to submit with your letter. Did you include any additional documents in your submissions?
For this outreach to be successful, please ensure the contact information on your selling account is up to date. Continue to keep us posted on your progress here and feel free to provide any additional information with us. The forums community is here to support you.
Thank you,
Jackson

Account Health mods appear to be looping around in circles.
WHY are Amazon accepting abusive mass filed complaints by purported “brand agents”… but what verification is they are actually have the rights to do so on the products filed against? And if a “brand agent” is just an abusive bot, quite possibly interfered with by bad actors and/or even run by them - with the express intent of attacking Amazon?
One answer is simply throw in the towel on selling nonmedia on Amazon. The perfection target appears to be zero offers! Nothing “fake” then, right?!
