How many times have you just deleted a product rather than bang your head against the wall trying to prove the obvious?
I have gotten past that point.
When Amazon sends me that my belt is a pesticide product or that my Oxygen wrench (a wrench specifically designed to turn the valve at the top of an Oxygen tank) is a Mechanical Ventilator. My first aid kit that contains nothing but bandages is a surgical kit. (why, because it is, why is it? because our bot says it is, so what is triggering the bot? that it’s a surgical kit bang bang bang)
It’s just not worth my time and energy to fight this every 3 months for them to remove it again.

This is our SOP now. If it’s not a best seller we have stocked deep we delete it from amazon and let it sell thru other marketplaces.

Selling over 100,000 products, that is what we do weekly. Delete the item and just move on.

I had to do that for a tablecloth that they kept putting high price violations on - I even lowered it down to one cent and it still claimed the price was too high.
Moved it too ebay and sold it in 3 weeks.

Hello @The_Lunatick_Fire_an,
Darby from Amazon here. I want to acknowledge your frustrations with the appeal process for listings being flagged for restricted product policy violations.
The pesticidal claims should be simple to address if you have identified the specific wording and get it removed. Simple does not mean it is quick or not frustrating. Were you able to successfully appeal this? Did you also audit the rest of your listings for similar verbiage?
Now in regards to your oxygen wrench issue, have you reviewed our medical devices and accessories page to see if the wrench falls under this? If it does not, then you should be able to provide the documentation required. How did this work out for you?
This sounds like it could go either way. Just to be sure, I have contacted the appropriate team about your situation. Someone will be getting in contact with you to go over the issue. Please make sure your contact information is accurate in your seller central account settings.
You can update your contact information in your notification preferences and seller account information if needed.
The forums community and I are here to support you. Please let us know how we can help you from this point forward.
Best wishes,
Darby

I gave up on all My pesticides ( hahaha ) I was selling on amazon… we launch 10+ new items a day on our websites and brick and mortars … guess the one place we haven’t offered a new product to in over a year ?

I feel the same way. Doesn’t matter how you change it, they will find a way to flag it again. I just keep deleting. No time to continually correct products, it’s too time consuming and gets me nowhere. Also, I can sell something today and right after it sells, it’s being flagged for something or another that wasn’t a problem when I just sold it!. Pretty soon my inventory will be 0. Amazon is now nothing but a pain in the butt to sell on!

Just delete it. We realized this when a product that was pure silver was declared a fraud because a buyer claimed pure silver is tan. On appeal, Amazon agreed that pure silver is tan. Silver dollars are tan, silver jewelry is tan etc.
Another time after providing invoices documenting a product, we gave the supplier’s phone number. The supplier said the phone call lasted less than 17 seconds and the Amazon reviewer summarily declared the invoices were fraudulent. We learned that if we receive some notice that a product was taken down, but we can put it back up - we don’t because the next time then will come the negative and demands.
There is absolutely nothing a seller can do if competitors use relatives to make fake claims. Regardless of how obviously absurd it doesn’t matter. Just eliminate the listing. The buyer is always right and the seller is always wrong.

Yep, ALL THE TIME. For me it’s usually catalog issues, but they never fix anything. It’s so dumb.

I have to laugh because we have had items that are considered Adult Products and have nothing to do with Adult products. I call it Whack A Mole.

Multiple times every month: gated listings, bad photos, inaccurate description. 0 help from Amazon. It’s easier to dump and get new inventory then deal with a few annoying items. We lost money…but not a lot. Should not be this way!
