I was going to ship 200units/25boxes-320kg using agl from china. I was planing to use AGL and AWD to reduce cost and let amazon handle everything, so i could focus on ppc and listing. Also Easier for first time seller to streamline everything.
what stopped me is people here on the forum complaining about amazon adding extra fees after the shipment have been arrived. Amazon claims that there will be no hidden fees, but how accurate is this? also how accurate is AGL calculator? do people mostly use agl or still use their own shipping methods?
i would rather use a shipping agent for $1600 then going with amazon for $400 but end up paying 4x the amount after getting my shippment.
help.

So I know this isn't what you are asking but the "first time seller" makes me want to check with you on a few things before you make a costly mistake.
Have you read all the many posts about the things that go wrong when you send product straight from china to amazon? The mislabeled products, the empty boxes, the expired or broken products, the need to recall the products from locations nationwide at huge cost over issues you don't know they have since you haven't actually inspected the product? It is really in your best interest to have the shipment sent to you for inspection BEFORE it goes to amazon.
Did you buy any of the product and sell it FBM to know there is enough of a market for it before you decided to try FBA? Do you know if the manufacturer is a seller as well and will price you out or will claim some type of infringement to keep you from selling on amazon?
