Why is putting an item on sale so cumbersome?
Am I missing something? Outside of bulk-use inventory files, is the only way to put an individual item on sale by "editing" each item every time? Amazon added a new pricing tool on the inventory page.... why not allow sellers to put items on sale from the all inventory page? Add quick options or better yet custom quick-sale options that allow sellers to set a discount amount + length of time. If an item isn't selling well, sellers can then easily from the inventory page, check off which sale you want to run and the sale is created.
Are there ways to put an item on sale on the app? Can't seem to do that either.
Also, when on the FBA Inventory management page, you can only put an item on sale when Amazon "suggests" it... make the option standard.

A flat file is the easiest way to run a sale on a large amount of items. Just be sure to select edit/update so it doesn't change anything else on the listing.
