Amazon lost one of our shipments back in May and we successfully got a reimbursement for the lost product.

5 months later on 10/26/24 they revoked the reimbursement, placing a fee equivalent to the amount they reimbursed us on our account.
This was not a small fee and brought our payout into the negatives.
There has been no communication from Amazon about either our inventory being found or the reimbursement being given in error.
Amazon customer service has repeatedly dismissed this problem rather than address it. First response is merging the case with the initial reimbursement case and closing it.
Re-opening the case has gotten me acknowledgment that the resolution to case 15229760131 was correct and a reimbursement for the account was now being processed. I never saw any updates on the reimbursement being re-instated.
Further attempts at communication have gotten me a link me to the reimbursement from the original case and again marking it as closed. I was then told further communication on this issue may not be responded to.
This doesn't help since that reimbursement was revoked, that is the issue I'm trying to get help on. The reimbursement has still not been re-instated.
I'm confused and dismayed by this experience and am hoping this has all been the result of errors and not an intentional policy of Amazon deny reimbursments.
