We have had hijackers take over 4 of our listings (B0DMRPRQL1, B0DQP8V9MT, B0DQVFTPPL, B0DQVGV9KF) this week and it has decimated our sales. New hijackers keep showing up. I have read others posts on here about their experiences with hijackers and it has really left us torn as a small growing business and brand. Our trademark is about to move from pending to registered in the next couple of weeks, but will our listings be screwed by then??? We have contacted Amazon, we are brand registered, we have done all the things. I've noticed so many sellers having problems with Amazon's lack of response or
Is it still worth keeping up our Amazon store or is this a prevailing problem that will keep happening? We are a small business and have been working so hard to build our brand.
From what I understand, you cannot change from Generic to a brand anyway, if that was in fact your plan. Would like to hear other's opinions and I have 1 listing hijacked. I just sell it as usual as it is custom-made.
Hello @Seller_4kLIDsMUkWbNp,
My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team and I would be happy to take a look into this for you. Thanks for providing the ASINs and I see that all 4 are showing the brand that you enrolled in Amazon Brand Registry.
When you state
Are you referencing their offers on the listing or they are making changes to the brand name attribute?
If you have already answered this question via a case or escalation with Seller Support, please list that case ID here and I will taka a look.
If you have not, I advise completing a test buy to determine if the product infringes on your Intellectual Property. If it does, I recommend filing a complaint ID via the Report a Violation workflow on the Brand Registry site. If you have never gone through this process before, I recommend reviewing the Intellectual Property for Rights Owners help page and the "Types of notices not accepted on Amazon," and "Reporting Infringement," sections to see what you can action and how.
Please let me know if you need further assistance or how everything turns out.
Best, Dougal
Where Scamazon used to be able to control this the bad guys are running circles around them
Unless scamazon has decided this is so profitable they will claim they are trying to stop it and cant because its profitable
All listings are commingled here, Amazon owns them all..
We just get to use them. If you need Exclusive control setup your own website..
I am experiencing the same thing. I may haver to close my store.
