Read onlyHello, I wonder if this forum might be able to assist us in the issue we are having. We are an authorized dealer with the brand and manufacturer Bandai Namco. We have been trying to get their newest item listed on Amazon, The Ms. Pac-Man Galaga Pixel Bash Edition Arcade. We filed an “apply to sell” application under the brand name Bandai Namco in order to create new ASINs and got denied. This is the exact wording from the review team as to why we were declined:
“We understand that you have received a 5461 error while trying to create a listing for Bandai Namco. You are not approved to create new ASINs for this brand, and we are not accepting applications for approval.”
We provided every other piece of supporting documentation the review team requested in the application and we even told them we could provide additional documentation to prove we are an authorized vendor and have permission from the manufacturer to list this item. When I asked them why they were not accepting applications this is what the review team responded with:
“As informed, we are currently not accepting any applications to create new ASINs for the brand "Bandai Namco". Regrettably, we cannot provide additional details on this matter due to confidentiality constraints.”
I'm so confused as to why this has been so difficult to list this item. Does Amazon really not want to make money from a legitimate item sold by a legitimate company? Is there something else I am supposed to do in order to apply to list this item? Here are the details of the item we are trying to list.
