Urgent help needed about DAC7
I need to complete the DAC7 form but it contains wrong information.
When I go to the "Edit in Account Info" it does not give me an option to edit and shows the following message
"Verification Failed
We have failed to verify the information that you have provided. If you have further questions, please contact Seller Support/Selling Partner Support."
I have contacted the support multiple times but they do not give me resolution to this issue and says that account is verified on their side and that this issue is not verification related.
I am trying to resolve this for more than 40 days without success.
What can I do to complete the correct data for the DAC7 directive.

Account info - Tax Information - VAT/GST Registration number - Edit. Fill out all information carefully. At the end don't forget to click (the one or the other)

If the VAT is for EU: you need to put the two country letters in front of the number, despite that this is no longer accepted by VIES.
BUT - the Deactivation warning will NOT go away from your dashboard. I'm waiting for that for weeks....

Hi Fran,
I've also been in the DAC7 maze for a while now with my business Light Language Messages. I've written about it a lot on this forum, for example in this post:
https://sellercentral.amazon.com/seller-forums/discussions/t/c0498a77-9508-48aa-b771-82b253e4abee?postId=1a1da58d-a30b-4388-8cfe-e70a75f64049
It can get so complicated, I feel we need to help each other as sellers, so feel free to pm me.

Hello @Seller_eDbj5EycT8QQn
Thank you for the information provided regarding the recent issues that you have encountered with the account. I do want to offer support, but I will require more information regarding the issue you are encountering as DAC7 can be difficult to navigate.
When I go to the "Edit in Account Info" it does not give me an option to edit and shows the following message
I see the screenshot, but would you be able to provide an image of the issue that includes a date and timestamp? With this information, I should be able to take it back to our team to get more information regarding what is preventing you from proceeding. As for what the tax ID should look like when being entered, the Netherlands will have the utilization of the BSN number. For a business, the format would want to reflect NLXXXXXXXXX.
If you encounter any other concerns or have any other details you would like to share, please refer back to this thread for support.
Best,
Atlas

Hi,
@Atlas_Amazon
CASE ID: [17635526921]
You are not alone with DAC7 issues. I faceng similar issues with Amazon’s DAC7 reporting for EU sellers. In my DAC7 report submitted to the Swedish government, my personal social security number (citizen ID) was incorrectly mixed up with my company registration number.
My accountant flagged this as a serious error, warning that if left uncorrected, it could lead to significant penalties or even jail time. The Swedish government might hold me personally liable for my company’s taxes due to this mistake.
I’ve verified that all details in my Amazon Seller Central account are correct, but the DAC7 report Amazon generated contains factual errors. I’ve contacted Amazon support, and it seems someone is addressing it. My SellerCentral account has prompted me to re-verify my details multiple times, almost like the system is stuck in a loop or there’s confusion on Amazon’s end about how to resolve this.
Fortunately, I took screenshots of the correct information in my account for evidence. Under EU DAC7 regulations, Amazon is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of these reports, but I’m the one who could face the consequences if this isn’t fixed.
Has anyone else encountered similar issues with DAC7 reporting?
