🍂🍂 Hello all, November is here! 🍂🍂
I am going to keep this one simple and to the point.
As a new seller with Amazon, what has been your single biggest obstacle you've had to face getting started with Amazon? This could be anything. Finding a product to sell, getting through registration and verification process, listing your first item, deciding on images to use, or anything else!
We want to hear it!

I'm not a new seller but am I allowed to make an observation? If so, it seems that getting through the verification process ranks right up there as one of the biggest hurdles.
I wish Amazon would direct new sellers to go through Seller University as part of the registration and verification process rather than fellow sellers directing them there after they've come to the forum looking for help with their deactivations. I know I'm not the first to suggest this. @Seller_kIukTwdhvntAp
This is definitely an obstacle. My guess is close to 100% aren't aware such a thing even exists.
The biggest problem I encountered is product compliance review, which is related to button batteries. This review process is very slow and has wasted a lot of my time. I am very distressed that it has not been completed yet.
The safe-t claims department auto denying legitimate claims. If so is the case regularly then amazon is literally stealing from sellers. This doesn't leave for a good experience for new or old sellers.
In my own case I purchased a shipping label through amazon and on the order page it says "claims protected". Supposed to be an easy case of reimbursement if the item gets lost by the carrier but... of course denied.
i shipped and it shows they received my items- but it says available: 0. Sooo are they listed or not? Why wouldn’t it show the number of items that are available?
Also- receipts for everything…hard to just sell a few things here and there because I’m blocked on everything.
1. Amazon hot following its' own policies.
2. Amazon not creating a standardized form for submitting Safe-T claims and A-Z Appeals. Simple to do, but someone must be scared of what will happen if filing claims was so easy.
