Handmade Amazon, is there a monthly fee?
I've had a handmade account with a few listings ever since handmade started. I never really tried to build my listings because I thought there was going to be a monthly fee. I've never been charged a monthly fee and wonder why. I'd like to try to list more of my work on Amazon handmade but unsure about the monthly fee. Thank you for your help.

For the "regular" Amazon marketplace each seller can chose if he wants to pay a monthly fee of $ 39.90 or pay $ -.99 per unit sold. This is professional verso individual selling plan. I imagine that it is the same in the handmade section.

There is no fee for Handmade. They waived it indefinitely several years ago.

That is true there is no fee for selling on Handmade. However you are incorrect that you would be changed a fee for the professional account. You can't sell on Handmade if you don't have a professional account. Maybe check your information on Handmade for accuracy?

A Professional selling plan is required to unlock Handmade features and benefits, including the ability for your listings to display in search results and being eligible for Handmade’s lower referral fees.
We waive the monthly Professional selling plan fee, following your approval to sell in Amazon Handmade and your approval for a Professional selling plan, for as long as you are approved to sell in Amazon Handmade, have eligible products for sale in the Handmade store, and are approved for a Professional selling plan.
