Standard Shipping transit time will be calculated using 5 days if 5-8 days is set

I just noticed that when the standard shipping transit time is set to 5-8 days, Amazon automatically calculates it as 5 days. Is this a new policy? For the past two days, we’ve seen significantly higher shipping costs for shipments traveling from the East Coast to the West Coast.

There were new USPS fees implemented for April which adds more postage costs to rural areas. That would probably be your increase in shipping costs.
