I am writing to follow up regarding the funds held in my seller account. My account was deactivated on March 16, 2023 due to a related accounts issue, which was linked to a friend’s account. After submitting multiple appeals and continuously cooperating with Amazon, my account was finally reactivated on March 4, 2025.
I appreciate the reinstatement, as it confirms that my account is now in good standing and eligible to operate. However, despite this reactivation, I have still not received the $4,454.40 that was held in my account during the suspension period.
Since my reactivation, I have opened several cases to request a review and release of these funds. Unfortunately, I have only received general responses and been told repeatedly that my case is being transferred to the relevant team, but there has been no clear resolution or timeline for the release of my balance.
I respectfully request the following:
I have always acted in good faith and complied with Amazon’s policies. I hope my case can now be fairly reviewed, especially in light of the account’s current active status.

First, I am glad to see that you were successful in reinstating your account after what sounds like quite an ordeal having stated almost two years earlier. Since you had mentioned that the store was reinstated back on 3/4/25, the funds should have been released not too longer after that. As you've mentioned you still have not received your funds, and most concerning the notice you received from our seller support teams yesterday on 4/3/25.
Due to the nature of this concern and having very little visibility into this information myself, I have reached out to the appropriate teams for these situation and asked them to take a look over your situation. Once I have some additional information or communication on this, I will follow up here to keep you informed.

I understand how concerning this message is, so I wanted to follow up and offer a bit of guidance and reassurance that I am still working on this. When you inquire about your funds it will reference the available balance. Many individuals who may assist with your account will have limited or restricted access, myself included. Based off your situation and the message you received about confiscated funds, these teams may not have visibility into what was previously there. This will result in the messaging you get with each request.
I have as already reached out to the appropriate teams who have this visibility to research the situation further and follow up with me on the situation. I did reach back out for an update, but was advise this is still under review. As mentioned, once I have more details to share I will reach back out here with you.
