Vine has been very disappointing for us. We spend a ton of money on Vine plus our product is given away for free only to have some Vine members give us 1-Star feedback and DESTROY our products right away for some minimal thing OR something completely unrelated to the product at all. Very disappointed with Vine and Amazon on this program.
My suggestion as a long time seller and Admin on 5 other Amazon accounts would be to limit Vine members to a 3-Star review at the lowest. Even a 3-Star I consider bad but why let someone destroy a product before its even really had a chance yet? And possibly let the seller chat with the Vine member about what they liked or did not like so we have a chance to discuss any issues with the Vine member. I even had one Vine member give me a 1-Star on a football glove because he said it did not do well for him while he used them to Garden with! WHAT!!! And of course Amazon refused to remove the 1-Star review UGH!

Don't do this. Amazon does NOT pair your products with the most appropriate reviewers. Some of the Vine Voice people seem totally legit, but many are just low IQ people who are strongly biased and don't understand the concept of a product review. They'll do things like "the shoes are amazing in every way - they're comfortable, they make me run faster and jump higher. I get compliments on them everywhere I go. However they're white and I prefer black. 1 star."
Pretty much all of Amazon's offerings are pretty lousy, and Vine is no exception.
