This has been our first year using AWD and despite a lot of the horror stories on here it has been great for our business! However, I'm curious how best to prepare our inventory for the holiday season.

Will AWD automatically replenish the inventory during Q4 enough to keep it in stock for holiday sales, or should we request to have inventory pulled in preparation for the holiday sales?

Trying to get ahead of this as much as possible in preparation for the holidays this year! Thanks in advance!

Hello, Mods and anyone who might know the answer,

Based on AWD's holiday replenishment rules, it says: "For this Holiday season, AWD’s outbound SLA will stay at 10-14 days from the time a replenishment request is made until the inventory is received at FBA."

Our question is: If we request AWD inventory to be replenished to FBA during November/December, will it still be considered "available" in FBA inventory bucket once received? We're asking because, in the past, after a certain date, any inventory received by FBA was placed in the "reserved" category with a delivery date after the holiday, which essentially made it unsellable during the peak season.

This is critical for our replenishment strategy, especially with the big difference in storage fees between AWD and FBA fulfillment centers during the holidays. If the AWD inventory can still be marked as "available" when received throughout most of the holiday season, we could delay replenishment and keep more stock at AWD for longer.
