when i try to list, i dont have a product id so it says to apply for a gtin exemption. i click the link and apply. it says approved but when i go to list my product it sends me into an infinite loop error and tells us to apply for the gtin exemption
How about that. There are factors going on that you don't see. In no special order...
- Timing of the year. at this time pf the yer, Amazon slows way down is granting exemptions. Nothing against you, it is just that Amazon does not want any disappointed buyers from problems that may or may not arise.
- While the Exemption Team may grant the exemption, when you go to list the product, the Product Team says no, we want a GS1 UPC. The Company is dysfunctional in that one Amazon Team, does not Communicate with another Team.
This has a lot to do with the way Jeff Bezos designed the Company to operate with his DAY-ONE - DAY TWO philosophic working conditions.
It will be a lot easier to purchase some GS1 UPC's and avoid all the problems that are going to arise.
I have the same issue. I am following this thread. It is kind of confusing as it says on Case ID column 'Approved' and upond clicking 'Listing' it is all over again listing a new product.
