So now you can patently get an IP violation even if you've never sold this product... or... *bang head here* 2.0

I wake up to an email today saying that I have an IP violation…

So naturally I start checking what happened while I dared to sleep for a few hours…

I look up the ASIN which was noted in my performance notification and check my inventory and it’s not there…

So then I think that maybe I sold this in the past… and I search my orders for this ASIN and can’t find anything either…

So then I double and triple check everything going back years and years back to when I started selling on Amazon… and this ASIN is nowhere in my history…

So then I appeal the violation saying exactly that… that I have never sold this ASIN in my entire time selling on Amazon!

I get a response saying that they are looking into it… That was in the early afternoon…

Just now, several hours later, I received an email saying:

“Upon further investigating the issue, we can see that we removed your listings because of concerns that the product sold by you currently do not have any brand or manufacturer name. Please update the correct Brand name and Manufacturer name as per the product listed. Please know that you may be subject to additional approvals depending on the brand name. “

I DO NOT NOW NOR HAVE I EVER SOLD THIS ASIN!!!

… and immidiately after I replied saying that I have never sold this, I get this response…

“Upon checking, I see that you have already removed this listing from your account. I appreciate your efforts in abiding with the policy and taking preventive measures so that similar issues does not repeat in future. If the listing violation is still reflecting in your Account Health Dashboard, kindly refer to the account health policy below: As per account health FAQ: How long does it take before an ASIN is removed from the Restricted Products Policy Violations area under your Account Health? Even if the issue is resolved after the listing has been taken down, the violation will continue to display for a period of 180 days. No further action is required from your end. ”

HAVE IS ONE SUPPOSED TO KEEP SANE AND NOT GET CONNIPTIONS WHEN THIS IS THE DAILY LIFE OF AN AMAZON SELLER…?!

AM I SERIOUSLY GOING TO HAVE TO CARRY AN IP VIOLATION FOR 180 DAYS FOR SOMETHING THAT LITERALLY NEVER HAPPENED?!!

THIS IS BEYOND ABSURD!!!

This may be time consuming, but I have had a few of these. Today I got a message that a book I listed in 2015 was removed because I was not authorized to sell this book. But I removed it from inventory not long after it was listed, or so I thought. Go to: Inventory: Search all inventory: Search Suppressed and Inactive Listings. I found many that I did know about dating back to 2009. Again I clicked on "delete product and listing." Now I hope for the best.

We've had this in the past too and good chance that the listing may have been changed or hijacked. We've gotten violations for things we haven't had in the past or removed from our inventory and even removed from Amazon's catalog. Some of the violations we were hit with were older listings that Amazon created!!! We've now learned once we are totally sought out sold out of inventory with no chance of restocking we delete the listing all together. It's ridiculous

The EVER-BUSY BOTS are on a tear, removing, suppressing; complaining. alerting-how else can they act when morons program them?

Also REMOVING DETAIL PAGES. Who knows why... But when I opened a case told by SS that it wasn't suppressed or removed but still active.

Sure enough still active-but since still reflected as inactive/suppressed, can't upgrade price or edit offering in any way!!

This now has happened twice!!
