AUTOMATIC ENROLLMENT TO SELL TO BRAZIL! Where's the AUTOMATIC UNENROLLMENT OPTION???

This absolutely sux.

No easy, effortless way to option out.

Sellers have to jump through hoops.

img

AMAZON scamming sellers into automatically listing products in countries that they have no rights from the manufacturer to sell in Brazil.

We see Amazon making Sellers jump through hoops, as they put up speedbumps and off-ramps to prevent or hinder Sellers attempts to avoid this un-requested obligation to sell to a South American country and automatically violate Manufacturer's agreements with no effort what-so-ever.

Another triumph by Amazon and loss for sellers

In case you have not been following various threads on this -- DO NOT attempt to close that Brazilian account.

Put it on vacation. Make sure no listings have been added; make sure synchronization (BIL) is not enabled.

In your screenshot, do you see the little blue checkbox right under the sentence you underlined?

Uncheck it.

At least, I think that works. It no longer shows checked for me, but the notice is still posted on my SC page.

Hello @Seller_WAZNnMBpd99sI,

My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team and it looks like @Seller_nRFmxiQg4EGrw provided guidance on removing Brazil. Did this solve your issue?

Also, since you asked about Auto-enrollment in the Brazil Store, please see the following help pages. The Brazil Store is a part of the North America Unified Accounts for sellers based in the United States and China:

Please let me know if you were unable to unselect the Brazil store or have any other issues on this topic.

Also, you can follow @Seller_Hi7wbO2Kbo6bl's advice as well to put in vacation mode and not add any listings while you work towards un-enrolling.

Best, Dougal
