How do you teach an Amazon bot the difference between an inflatable balloon and a Tylenol? I wish this was a joke, but it is a serious question.
I can't seem to get an actual human at Amazon to take a look at my case 15820792411. I have the ridiculous task of proving a Chimney Balloon ASIN: B0DBZSPZ3L is not an OTC pain reliever. I have submitted the instructions and packaging to show that a Chimney Balloon is a large balloon that is inflated in a homes chimney to seal it, and that is very different than an OTC pain reliever. However Amazon insists in Case 15820792411and case 15841518651 that a chimney balloon is an OTC pain reliever.
Here is Amazon responses: " We have reviewed your request and have concluded that your product is Ingestible Over the Counter (OTC) Pain Relievers as per guidelines and subject to the compliance requirements."
This is like having a debate in Clown Coo-koo Land!

Hello @Seller_qsBEKNliELsET
Thank you for the information provided regarding the issues that you have seen recently. I did attempt to review the case information, but did want to communicate that my team does have limited visibility as the case does currently appear to be with another team. From the details provided, the issue does not seem to be with the product itself, but the specific description that is being utilized on the product detail page.
When looking at the detail page, is there any reference to being able to utilize your mouth to blow up the product or anything that could be seen as attempting to be pain relief? Have you attempted to make any kind of edits or adjustments to the information that is currently listed? The description on the listing is very important as it needs to be clear that the product cannot be utilized for any other purpose than the original intended.
We do encourage you to continue to refer to this thread with any other details or updates that you have on this situation so we may better understand where you are in the current dispute process.
Best,
Atlas
I think I have discovered what the AI is erroring out on. It is confusing the word "Flue" with the word "Flu". So if the description says flue plug or flue stopper. The AI thinks it is a virus medicine or pain reliever.
These 2 cases are still open: Case 15820792411 and Case 15841518651
and I have appealed both cases including the instruction sheet of our Chimney Balloon. How can i get the Amazon AI to recognize the correct spelling of the word "flue"?
Hello @Seller_qsBEKNliELsET,
Ricardo from Amazon here.
Good catch! I went online and saw you product is now live. Feel free to reopen in case you need additional assistance on this matter.
Ricardo, It has always been live, that is not the problem. The problem is the open case in My Account Health as a product compliance strike. This case remains open against me and can shut down the listing at any time.
Hello @Seller_qsBEKNliELsET,
There is an annotation in your account regarding this situation and you shouldn't be affected by this in the future.
While it remains visible in Seller Central, our investigators will see the internal annotation and you should be fine.
In case something happens, feel free to reply/make reference to this thread and I will gladly assist.
Ricardo, What you said about my product not being effected is incorrect. The 10x10 Chimney Balloon ASIN: B0DBZSPZ3L on case # 15841518651 was removed by product compliance. They sent me an email that stated: "This case will now be closed. We will reach out if further information is needed from you in the future."
But then they removed that ASIN regardless on grounds of Product Compliance.
For anyone else also getting hit with a false Product compliance strike, keep posting it in the forum and reopening seller support cases to get actual people to help. Simply contesting the case with Product Compliance is not enough as the AI inmates are running the product compliance asylum. There are no actual people manning that station and the AI is buggy. In my case the AI could not differentiate the word flue from flu.
