I have an item that I have been selling successfully on Amazon for years. I have sold 98 of these in the past 30 days on Amazon. For me that's good. I sell it on Amazon, Walmart, Ebay for the same price $119.50, all with same day free shipping. Today I received a message from Amazon.
"Below is a list of product(s) in your catalog that are not currently eligible to be the Featured Offer because they are not priced competitively compared to prices for those products from retailers outside Amazon. These offers are still displayed through our Offer Listing Page and other areas within the Amazon store. If you’d like to restore Featured Offer eligibility visit Pricing Health within the Pricing section of Seller Central to lower your price on Amazon."
So the Amazon bots found it on another private site for $109.50. Thats less than a 10% difference. Do I have to chase every lower price on the internet to appease Amazon ? What happens when some other site lowers it to $99 ? Why would I want to get involved in a race to the bottom?
There are other selling platforms that charge lower fees than Amazon. Is Amazon willing to lower their fees to match the others?
Being in business is difficult enough without Amazon creating issues where there is none.
Yes I think we are facing the same issue. Really want to know your solutions. Thank you. Awaitting for your update.
