Please tell me how the product we are selling and approved by you yesterday is ANY DIFFERENT from the one we were trying to sell on Amazon? The below product has been on there for months among others as well.
There is ZERO THC in our CBD and is legal in all 50 states. Nothing illegal about what we are trying to sell on Amazon.
Please advise with your answer

You are not talking to Amazon here. Just to other sellers.
This is just the seller forum. But, that said, this is directly from Amazon help pages regarding restricted products…
“Drug listings must not be for controlled substances or products containing controlled substances, such as: (emphasis added)
Products containing cannabidiol (CBD), a Schedule I Controlled Substance, including but not limited to:
Rich Hemp Oil containing cannabidiol (CBD)
Products that have been identified as containing CBD by LegitScript”
Please keep in mind, even if it is legal Amazon has the right to restrict whatever they want
I asked seller support after I got a policy violation for CBD oil , they stated that they know is legal in all 50 states but because Amazon is seen world wide in places where CBD is banned then they will not allow it. I sent them a screen shot of a search of CBD oil in amazon showing over 1k results what made them not get deleted? they said that they have to be reported , personally I am not snitching on other sellers but clearly someone then reported the specific product I had listed.
Amazon needs to update its policy as the DEA took CBD off schedule I and is now valued as something with medical uses. If Nebraska can sell it, so can Amazon…they are missing out on a huge market!
The product page you linked is a hemp isolate. Hemp is legal. They do not mention CBD in order to get around this rule.
Hemp was only recently legalized in the Agricultural Improvement Act of 2018. Meaning CBD from hemp is legal.
However, I think Amazon’s concern is that CBD from marijuana is still illegal, and without an easy way to differentiate the two, they most likely will not allow either.
Looks like that product got by the Amazon filters by replacing the word “CBD” with “Hemp” - thin ice if you ask me.
That listing says “PM for certificates” Wonder what they’re on!?
CBD products are directly listed on the prohibited item list. It seems as though amazon may be allowing SOME sellers to start selling these items or they may just be listing them against policy. Either way arguing that someone else is allowed to do it is not going to work, Gift cards are also prohibited, but surprise amazon sells them. The rules are not uniform for all sellers or uniformly applied. Its just speculation but I would suspect amazon will be entering the hemp market cautiously, and it may open up slightly as time goes on, just as likely amazon will make an exclusive partnership for CBD’s.
I believe if it’s not FDA Approved, you can’t sell it on Amazon.
I learned this the hard way when I tried to sell ear candles which are legal in all 50 states, but not FDA Approved.
It seems the only CBD approved product by the FDA is a prescription seizure medication for children. (Hoping it helps them all out)
we get this all the time when they remove our pages but others are present even amazon as the seller. We even get infringement for amazon and or its sellers altering images which other sellers should be careful as one of our product had a totally different image so we got an infringement from the manufacturer which we explained was an amazon catalog but as the only seller at this time, i got screwd but you get used to the unprofessionism
