Why, why, why are the shipping adjustments showing up now, I sell rosaries 3oz, they all should be less than 4.25, I had an adjustment of 9.00 dollars on a 3oz rosary, total to ship a rosary 13.25, who is doing this?
Somebody may have had their finger on the scale. More likely, a typo was made when entering the tracking number for another item. I have successfully appealed one of these adjustments to the carrier (USPS) and received a refund. Depending on the number of adjustments you are seeing, it may not be worth the time and effort. Some people have recommended just considering it a cost of doing business. Believe it or not, I have received a couple of shipping charge refunds where they say the weight was less than what I entered.
Hello @Seller_GyY8kLnCdVxVn
Carrier shipping correction charges are charges from the carriers that Amazon passes through to sellers. They are based on differences between the information on the shipping label and the carrier-audited package information.
Please note that adjustments can be for either outbound or return shipments. Shipping-correction charges may be applied if the package that the item is returned in is larger or smaller than reported on the shipment.
You can view the details for carrier adjustments in seller central by checking your Transaction View > Transaction Type: Shipping Services and looking for Adjustments. Adjustments will be linked to Order IDs.
If you wish to dispute any carrier adjustments based on what you believe is incorrect carrier-audited information, those must be submitted to seller support. I recommend including product details, photos, or any other information in support of the dispute.
If you share a Case ID, I can review the adjustments/dispute and determine if there is any additional path for appeal.
