Our Account Is Under Attack by a New Type of Buyer Scam—And Amazon Is Enabling It!
We are currently experiencing a targeted scam operation on our Amazon store that is causing significant financial harm to our business. A single buyer has placed 9 separate orders with us—each averaging around $150—and in every single case, this individual has either claimed the product was defective or never delivered, triggering A-to-Z Guarantee claims or refund requests.
One of the most recent fraudulent orders is Order ID: 111-7885364-1456245. As with the others, the customer submitted a claim immediately after delivery, despite clear evidence and a delivery record.
Despite our team providing valid tracking, proof of delivery, and detailed buyer communication, Amazon’s claims department continues to side with this buyer, issuing refunds without properly investigating the obvious abuse pattern.
We are extremely frustrated and concerned. This is not just about one buyer abusing the system—it’s about a systemic failure where fraudulent behavior is rewarded, and sellers are left completely unprotected. Amazon, intentionally or not, has become an accomplice to this scam.
We urge other sellers to be vigilant and ask Amazon to take urgent action to review buyer fraud patterns and allow legitimate sellers the fair protection they deserve.

The Amazon review team is incredibly disappointing — they refunded this scammer and penalized our account without proper investigation! Even after we appealed and submitted proof of delivery, the decision could not be overturned.

Hello @Seller_cjc5Ow6fFpWI4 - and thanks for looking to the seller forums for some guidance on managing this A-to-z Claim.
I was able to take a look into the specifics here, and see our team identified that no signature was captured on delivery, and I also note that the order was not fulfilled using a 'Claims protected' buy shipping label, which does provide certain protections against 'item not received' claims from customers.
As this customer reports not receiving the item, and protections against such claims were not in place due to the label used, it may be that other issues interfered with the customer receiving the package, such as a "porch pirate" event. If you have additional information to add to your A-to-z Claim appeal, please do so so our team can take it into account, and you may wish to consider using Buy Shipping labels if applicable moving forward to help guard against such experiences.
If you haven't yet, you may also consider reporting these orders as a violation if you consider the buyer to be abusive. While our team will not respond with any outcomes of their investigations, please know all submissions will be investigated for appropriate action.
I hope this information helps, and thank you again for posting to the forums for insight and discussion.
Best,
Danny
